The problem of changes in the demographic structure of the population and the allocation of resources in the context of the economic development of the state should be contemplated in the redistribution of income, which is based on three basic planes, namely: macroeconomic, pensions and private income transfers for the household sector. Of great importance in the context of the above-mentioned relationship is a factor of an aging population, because as the process leads to the accumulation of issues related to the split-flow of goods and services (in value), which are produced in the marketing process. Prospects occurring in this area are limited due to the relationship that takes place between the number of working people and retirees, the dynamics of change, and the value of national income. Depending on what time there are defined on the basis of intergenerational income redistribution, which highlights the problem of intergenerational transfers with special emphasis on the aging population. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of changes in the demographic structure of the population, with special emphasis on the process of aging of the population on the national economy. The article uses data from the Central Statistical Office relating to the demographic situation in Poland and the population forecasts for 2035 years.
