The article presents system of therapy based on the work program of the patient’s family of drug addict in the Centre for Prevention and Therapy „Jest Czas” (There is Time) in Plock. In the first part the authors discuss the main assumptions of the theoretical understanding of risk behavior of youth in the light of developmental theory of Jessor and systemic approach. In the second part the article characterizes general approach and organizational structure of the Centre, with special attention on the course of family therapy. In the third part of the article discusses the therapeutic program based on the concept of Lee Jampolsky, as defined by the American psychologist “Beliefs of addict personality”.
