Contemporary organizations are competing in creating and supplying
new methods of satisfying clients’ needs. This is due to the development
of technology which provides new tools and opportunities in business,
including new business patterns. They often help to provide companies
with a better position in the competitive market by offering a unique service
or product. The implementation of new technology, among others
by increasing work efficiency, helps in achieving business goals. It can
be said that technology is currently a valuable support for organizations,
both large and small. This article aims to prove that new business models
(patterns) contribute to increase the competitiveness and success of
companies from various sectors of the economy. Therefore, the article
presents the theoretical aspect of this issue, as well as the examples of
their practical application.
