This study presents the issue of professional culture of a teacher. Therefore,
considerations were devoted to selected theoretical approaches to culture in order to define
on that basis the concept and main indicators of teachers’ professional culture, examples of
which may include methodological, technological, information and organizational culture.
Professional culture is crucial for the quality of operations of a school, therefore, teachers’
cooperation and their interest in taking part in its development are really important.
