The article discusses the issues related to the language importance for a family communication process. The author indicates the family communication significance for the social
communication, the role of language and listening in effective human communication. Next,
the author goes on to presenting the results of her own research into the family communication methods, including the family language used daily and names for mother and father
adopted by young people.
