Supporting the child and family in inclusive education is a prerequisite for
success in achieving its basic goals and objectives. Due to the importance of
the problem, the aim of this article will be to analyze how to effectively support both children and their families by implementing the goals of inclusive
education. The article introduces the definition of „inclusive education” at
the beginning, presents the most important legal regulations and its basic
goals and assumptions. The analysis of the collected information shows that
Polish education law provides for a whole range of instruments that enable
effective support in inclusive education, however, there are still challenges
that must be met in the future.
